Lesson Summary

A Home Care Aide’s basic job duties include providing personal care, supporting a client’s independence and rights, observing and reporting changes to the appropriate person on the care team, and preparing for and responding to emergencies. As a professional caregiver, a Home Care Aide must follow good professional conduct and maintain professional boundaries in order to provide the highest quality care.
